Case Study – Australian Institute of Sport

OUR TASK

When the Australian Institute of Sport undertook a re-branding project in 2014, our task was twofold. Firstly – we had to design and produce a new apparel range in line with the rebranding; and secondly – there had to be a carefully considered retail strategy implemented to clear all existing apparel in time for the national rebranding launch date.

THE RESULT

Having been in partnership with the AIS for over 20 years, we were well aware of the strict quality guidelines, product range and deliverables they required for this project. Together, we designed and manufactured a specific collection of product, which includes high-performance active wear, casual apparel, uniforms and promotional items. Obsolete stock lines were also moved through in accordance with our exit strategies.

KEY ELEMENTS

  • A high-quality individually tailored apparel program designed with the new AIS branding.
  • Assisted in implementing a strategy for the exit of obsolete stock from retail facilities.
  • Ongoing range reviews conducted to ensure relevance and success of retail lines.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY

  • We provide a comprehensive range of staff uniforms worn on site.
  • Continue to develop new clothing and branded merchandise based on overseas trends.
  • Warehousing of large offshore orders.
  • Development of marketing initiatives that heighten visitor experience.
