At Bluegum, we are passionate about supporting those who need it most. Whether it be families in need, providing for those less fortunate or just putting something back into the community – we feel privileged to be in a position to help.

And those we help need not just be local. Since we also operate offshore, we figured that providing assistance to those outside our borders was something we just had to do. We’re proud to be able to support the work of both Ronald McDonald House and Foundations Worldwide. Some of their stories will bring a tear to your eye, and just might inspire others to reach out too.

Ronald McDonald House
Ronald McDonald House is an independent non-profit organisation that provides a range of support to seriously ill children and their families when they need it most. Ronald McDonald House volunteers work tirelessly to offer support and assist with activities at various locations, and we gladly donated tshirts for the 300+ wonderful Volunteers at RMH Monash in Victoria, which they absolutely loved!

Foundations Worldwide
Foundations Worldwide is a charity based organisation whose work includes the support of impoverished people throughout the world, including Eastern Europe. We are proud to be a continual supporter of FWW and in the last two years have provided garments from overruns and excess stock to communities, nursing homes, orphanages and hospitals throughout Romania. Our donations have been distributed to many sites including a girl’s home, mens church choirs and pastors in Timisoara; a children’s home and nursing home in Resita; and a womens refuge in Sibiu.
We received some lovely feedback from FWW and here is an excerpt from one of their letters….
“Your kindly donated garments have arrived in Romania and will be distributed before the winter sets in. They will be put to good use and most welcomed by all who will receive them. We really appreciate your generous support to our ministry. The need is great and there are many orphans and elderly people. Sadly Eastern Europe is a forgotten part of the world but your generosity helps to bring a smile to many faces”.
