Bluegum began in 1985 in a small factory in Fitzroy North, Melbourne Australia. From those humble beginnings, we’ve embraced opportunities, overcome challenges, and enjoyed an incredible adventure to become the company we are today.
Bluegum is proudly Australian-owned and operated by the Kellerman and Beven families. You’ll still find them hands-on — answering your calls, responding to emails, or even loading trucks to make sure your order arrives on time.

Milestones That Shaped Us
| 1985 | Bluegum is established and commences operations in North Fitzroy |
| 1990 | Brett Kellerman joins the organisation |
| 1990 | Bluegum expands to larger premises in Abbostford |
| 1990 | Inhouse cutting commences |
| 1993 | Bluegum opens a second factory in Abbotsford and sets up in house printing |
| 1996 | Bluegum opens a third factory in Abbotsford as it continues to grow |
| 2003 | Sydney office opens |
| 2004 | Bluegum moves to consolidate its three factories into one larger premises in Blackburn |
| 2005 | North Queensland office opens |
| 2006 | Christopher Beven joins Bluegum |
| 2008 | Bluegum relocates to Nunawading |
| 2009 | Bluegum opens Brisbane office |
| 2010 | Bluegum opens Ningbo China office |
| 2013 | Bluegum opens Auckland New Zealand warehouse and office |
| 2019 | Offsite warehousing facility is engaged |
| 2020 | Existing head office and warehouse is custom built to house existing operations |
| 2023 | Internal renovations increases storage capacity by 50% |
